Account Responsibilities

Listing Items

When you list items for sale on our marketplace:

• You must own the items or have authorization to sell them
• All descriptions and photos must be accurate and not misleading
• You must honor the price and terms stated in your listing
• You are responsible for shipping and handling as described
• You must comply with all applicable tax laws

Purchasing Items

When you purchase items on our marketplace:

• You enter into a binding contract with the seller
• Payment is processed securely through Stripe
• Refunds and returns are subject to seller policies
• You are responsible for reviewing item details before purchase

Transaction Disputes

Sport Card Collector acts as a platform connecting buyers and sellers. We are not a party to transactions between users. Disputes should be resolved directly between buyer and seller. We may assist in dispute resolution but are not obligated to do so.

Subscription and Payments

Subscription Plans

We offer various subscription tiers with different features and limits. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis, depending on your selected plan.

Automatic Renewal

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings.

Refund Policy

Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law. If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period.

Intellectual Property Rights

Our Content

All content, features, and functionality of Sport Card Collector, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, software, and design, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

You retain ownership of content you upload to our service (photos, descriptions, notes). By uploading content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, store, and display your content as necessary to provide the service.

No Guarantee of Accuracy

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any content on our platform, including card valuations, market prices, or user-generated content. Users are responsible for verifying information independently.

Service Availability

We do not guarantee that our service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of the service at any time without notice.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sport Card Collector and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to:

• Loss of profits, revenue, or data
• Loss of or damage to property
• Business interruption
• Personal injury or emotional distress
• Third-party claims arising from marketplace transactions

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Sport Card Collector and its affiliates from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any third-party rights.

The following items and activities are strictly prohibited on our marketplace:

• Counterfeit or fake cards
• Stolen property
• Items that violate intellectual property rights
• Illegal goods or services
• Price manipulation or artificial inflation
• Shill bidding or fake transactions

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Sport Card Collector operates, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive any right to participate in class action lawsuits or class-wide arbitration.
